Soap from the Garden

December 16 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Event Navigation

Please join the South Jersey Seed Circle Library for our final Seed to Sovereignty event of the year.

Using organically grown luffa gourds and calendula flowers from the 2018 harvest we will teach you how to make cold process soap. You will go home with a soap recipe, detailed instructions, and plenty of resources to help you make soap at home. If you’ve ever been interested in cold process soap making, save the date for this event. A variety of soaps will be available for purchase, just in time for holiday gift giving.

As an added bonus, there will be a mini session on eco-friendly gift wrapping and your selected soap gifts will be beautifully wrapped in organic fabrics. All profits from soap sales will be donated to the Seed Circle Library so we can continue to bring organic seeds to South Jersey gardens.

So, don’t miss out and bring a friend; this event is free and open to the public.
