On December 21, the Friday before Christmas weekend, the FDA quietly gave their approval to genetically engineered salmon. This is the first engineered animal intended for the human food supply. The public comment period ends on April 26, and our comments are needed now. Also, please contact President Obama and tell him that you don’t want GE salmon to be approved and that you want all genetically engineered foods to be labeled.
