BEANS ~ THE PULSE OF THE FUTURE

GMO Free NJ welcomes 2016, designated by the 68th UN General Assembly as the International Year of the Pulses, by celebrating the humble bean. Find out why increasing your consumption of these small but mighty seeds (lentils, beans, peas, chickpeas etc) is good for your health, budget, garden and the environment, AND reduces your impact on climate change. If you have a favorite bean recipe, bring a copy of it; we’ll be expanding our culinary options by snapping pictures of each other’s recipes. And oh, bring your appetite too because there will be some yummy organic pulse dishes for you to sample. Free and open to the public; bring a friend.
