Allies:

We are coordinating two emergency rallies to support GMO Labeling on Tuesday.

As many of you may have heard the DARK Act has passed the Senate Ag Committee and could face a floor vote as early as next week.

There is still the unfortunate talk of a QR code being batted around as a “compromise” and other crazy ideas. Senator Menendez has still not taken a position on labeling GMOs and we need to make sure he hears our voice loud and clear.  There are other compromises being discussed, and we will report more as details emerge.

What ever the deals cut in congress are, we are not willing to back down on our demands of clear mandatory on-package labeling of GMOs.

We are going to coordinate two rallies outside Senator Menendez’s South Jersey and North Jersey offices on Tuesday to tell him that the we want clear mandatory labeling of GMOs. Following the rallies, we will deliver over 20k petition signatures in support of GMO labeling to Senator Menedez.
